Site Operating Procedures Version 5

In May, Samuel Lindsay blogged on Version 4 of the Site Operating Procedures issued by the Construction Leadership Council. Now Site-Operating-Procedures-Version-5 has been issued. This version was issued on the 4 July and addresses the easing of lockdown measures. It deals with the 'one metre plus' social distancing guidelines and the Council says that it also deals with other points including the following:

  • Update to the 'When to travel to work' section
  • The latest peak times for public transport
  • Entry systems to be regularly cleaned rather than between each use
  • Drivers to have access to welfare facilities
  • Canteens that have been closed or offered a restricted service may now reopen
