The LUPC is a buying organisation with a large portfolio of frameworks procuring goods and services for its members – mostly universities and colleges around London but also national organisations from the wider not-for-profit sector. The procurement exercise was run by LUPC on behalf of NEUPC, NWUPC, HEPCW, and SUPC. It has recently built on the success of the previous LUPC framework to keep it up to date and reflect member requirements.
The roster is divided into four lots made up of: commercial services, dispute resolution (including student matters), human resources, and a one-stop-shop. Valued at £18 million and including eight firms, the one-stop-shop is the highest value lot and the one that Mills & Reeve has been reappointed to. This appointment recognises Mills & Reeve’s wide range of expertise across many services. The agreement is for an initial three-year term, with the option to extend for an additional one year.
