The awards, hosted virtually like many others this year, brought together people from across the health & care sector to recognise a multitude of achievements and outstanding contributions.
Shortlisted for two awards, we won Legal Advisor of the Year – Public and received high praise from judges who said: "[Mills & Reeve were] a top law firm who lived and breathed health and we were consistently admired by clients at the very highest level.”
The winning submission included work across a range of services including creating a new healthcare system for the biggest new town (Northstowe, Cambridgeshire), enabling healthcare digitisation, judicial reviews for local and national clients and the financial completion of Springfield Hospital in South West London. The submission also included information on our work with clients creating Integrated Care Systems as well as our involvement in two major employment cases in the Court of Appeal on holiday pay and managing internal disciplinary proceedings. .
