The 200 law firms listed are entirely peer-selected and based on a simple question: “other than your own firm, which practice would you instruct in this area of work?” We have won recognition among our peers for outstanding work across a wide range of legal activities, being commended in this survey in 12 specialisms.
We were commended for administrative and public law, banking and finance, commercial dispute resolution, commercial property, company and commercial, education, employment, entertainment and sport, family, inheritance and succession, insurance and professional negligence.
The report highlighted some our standout work over the year, including advising the University of Cambridge on a new coronavirus testing laboratory, Urban&Civic on a pioneering partnership deal to develop new homes worth £1.2 billion and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency on a £170 million contract for a new national emergency radio network.
Statista carried out the research earlier this year. It contacted more than 20,000 solicitors in England and Wales, and hundreds of clients, and asked them to recommend the best law firms in any of 31 categories covering business, public and private-client fields.
