Supporting your ambitions
Alison’s focus is to build long-term relationships with clients and become their trusted advisor. Since joining Mills & Reeve Alison has advised a number of clients on re-structuring their affairs, including the transferring of a farming business into a trust, and advising on the interplay between discretionary trusts and loans.
Alison recently dealt with a complex downsizing issue as part of a wider probate matter, securing a residence nil rate band allowance that was greater than the value of the downsized property and saving the clients a significant amount of inheritance tax. The clients were delighted with the outcome.
