What can Charlotte do for you?
Charlotte joined Mills & Reeve in September 2018. She advises public and private organisations on a breadth of property issues, including landlord and tenant matters, disposals and acquisitions, and provides real estate support on corporate and finance projects. Charlotte also advises on development matters, from fit out agreements to large scale regeneration projects.
Supporting your ambitions
Charlotte is part of a multi-disciplinary team at Mills & Reeve advising the South West London & St. George's Mental Health NHS Trust on the redevelopment of the historic Springfield Hospital site in Tooting. Charlotte's work on this project, the first phase of which completed in December 2019, is rooted in the "pure" property work, and the negotiation of complex sale agreements, transfers, leasebacks, finance documents and a multitude of ancillary documentation. In Charlotte's opinion the project required the inclusion of the vast majority of property documents you could hope to draft in an entire career!
What do others say?
Charlotte's clients say they appreciate her prompt responses and flexibility. Commenting on Charlotte's work in negotiating an agreement for lease conditional on planning permission, a client's surveyor noted that it was "not an easy deal to get documented, and you made it look simple".
What else should you know?
Charlotte is half-French and spent a year studying French law in Paris. She spends her spare time obsessing over her two rescue cats, attempting to beat past Strava achievements and trying to control her terrible sweet tooth! (If you're visiting Birmingham, she strongly recommends the cronuts at Medicine, nata at Salcooks or passion fruit tart at the Bread Collection...).
