Supporting your ambitions
Claire recently advised three London colleges on a major merger. It was a complex project that also involved IP, real estate, banking, employment, pensions, regulatory, environmental and data protection advice. This was a great example of how Mills & Reeve really gets to know its clients and understand the business, including the pressures, the challenges and the opportunities.
Claire also advised 18 University of Cambridge colleges create a first-of-its-kind finance deal, raising over £400 million from institutional investors. The deal was described as “very innovative and very 21st century... the kind of deal that is an industry trailblazer”.
What do others say?
A client recently commented that Claire “has a sharp mind, a wealth of experience, cuts through the rubbish and shows how she really sees it from the client’s perspective”.
The Legal 500 2018 describes Claire as a “leading light” with “niche expertise in both the education sector and investment funds formation”.
What else should you know?
If Claire wasn’t busy being managing partner of a leading UK law firm dedicated to developing its reputation for innovative and exciting work and providing a supportive, flexible and agile working environment for its people to truly thrive in, then she would have liked to be a garden designer. She enjoys creating, nurturing and seeing things grow.
