Edward Sloan

Edward advises on venture capital investments and specialises in leading and negotiating investment rounds on behalf of investors and companies. He regularly advises institutional investors, funds, universities and angel syndicates, as well as founders and growth companies, from spin-out through to later stage. Edward acts on transactions across all stages of investment, from seed to later alphabet rounds. 

Edward has acted for growth companies from their earliest stages of investment through to later stage alphabet rounds and exit. He's also acted for various funds from their initial investments and supported them on their growth.

• Acting for eight universities on their participation in the £250m Midlands Mindforge patient capital investment company to support spin-outs from those universities 

• Advising Sphere Fluidics Limited on its $40m Series A investment round 

• Advising a UK fintech company on its $100m Series B investment round 

• Acted for a UK deep tech VC on a £2.5m investment in an Oxford University spinout 

• Acted for a UK deep tech VC its participation in a $26m Series B round for a climate change modelling platform
