Supporting my clients' ambitions
James spent over a year seconded to one of the largest MGAs in the UK. Working as the senior lawyer in the professional indemnity claims team, he had responsibility for liaising with capacity providers and coordinating strategies in respect of high value claims and coverage matters.
James regularly works with insurance brokers and their insurers to challenge adverse policy decisions made by insurers, including advice on the application of the proportionate remedies provided by the Insurance Act 2015.
What do others say?
"James Thompson has excellent knowledge of broker E&O matters in particular. Advice is provided in a timely manner and in a clear and understandable fashion. James goes over and above in terms of engagement with insurers, he has always been generous with his time when further clarity or explanation was needed. I would highly recommend James."
