Patrick specialises in dispute resolution in the construction, engineering and energy sectors - advising clients ranging from private individuals to multinational companies in the resolution of disputes in adjudication, High Court litigation and arbitration .
His recent focus has been on high value, litigious energy disputes relating to both the operation and the administration of offshore oil and gas projects and infrastructure.

A recent highlight for Patrick was a High Court and Court of Appeal dispute concerning a joint venture involving a number of offshore oil and gas fields. Patrick identified and secured for the clients cost savings of millions of pounds and repayment of historic overpayments of over half a million pounds.
Patrick has also recently advised in respect of a referral to a regulator in the energy sector relating to offshore infrastructure and obtained a positive result for the client.

What else should you know?
Patrick received a degree in Physical Anthropology and Classical Archaeology at the University of Alberta, Canada before moving to the UK to study law. Patrick is a member of the Society of Construction Law and he is also a founding member of the firm's LGBT+ network, Spectrum.
