A key focus of Stephanie’s work is supporting clients on strategic decisions influenced by the regulatory framework and contracts covering IP, research collaborations and international arrangements.
Supporting my clients' ambitions
In the past decade, Stephanie has supported her clients in connection with their efforts to respond to, and develop treatments for, major epidemic and pandemic threats, including collection and transfer of patient samples internationally and development of IVDRs.
Examples of her work include:
- Advising clients on and negotiating complex multinational research consortium agreements in the field of vaccine development.
- Working closely with clients on connected development, licence and supply agreements for the development of a product to ensure that the licensed rights and grant timeframe corresponded with their planned product authorisation and launch.
- Supporting clients in the review and negotiation of contracts with manufacturers to make sure an alternative source of supply for the active ingredients to their medicinal products.
- Working with a client’s US based lawyers on the finalisation of a suite of clinical trial templates to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.
- Providing strategic input into the online distribution of over the counter medicines and related medical devices, including advising on pharmacy regulations and advertising claims relating to the product.
