Our health and care real estate specialists are part of a 140-strong national real estate team. We have deep sector knowledge in health and care real estate but also a wider perspective from our work with developers, investors, corporate occupiers and funders. Our core team is also supported by specialists in planning, construction, tax and project funding as well as our real estate disputes team. We can support you with everything from the largest development project to short term leases and licences.

Our experience

​We have over 30 years' experience acting for clients in the health  and care sector. We've seen many changes in how NHS real estate is organised during that time. Our work has included:

  • Advising a Mental Health Trust on the £150 million redevelopment of two hospital sites including provision for over 800 new homes.
  • Acting for a major investor on the restructuring of its entire £300 million+ healthcare property holdings.
  • Successfully assisted an acute NHS Trust on the development of an internationally renowned  Biomedical Campus.
  • Advising a newly formed private sector mental health provider on all aspects of its property portfolio including new acquisitions.
