Procurement strategies

Our team has lots of experience and has put in place a number of innovative strategies to deal with various issues that we have come across.

We have a board range of experience advising on construction procurements. Recent examples of our experience include:

• Preparing  procurement and construction documents for a University for a multi-million pound contractor framework (incorporating a suite of amended JCT contracts) for an eight year campus regeneration project.
• Working closely with a University and their wider consultant team to put in place frameworks for contractors (incorporating a suite of amended NEC contracts) and a wide range of consultant disciplines. We provide ongoing support to the University on the management of this.
• Advising an NHS Trust on the procurement of a multi-million pound FM contract (based on an NEC Contract).
• Helping a government department complete a pathfinder project to appoint a single contractor to deliver a long term programme of flood mitigation works in the South East.
• Working together with a developer on an urban extension to a market town including 6,500 new homes, 3 new primary schools and a secondary school. This is largely done by way of framework agreements and we are involved in the ongoing management of these.
